CP13: Matrix Approach in Dynamics of Relative Body Motion

ABSTRACT: This paper treats a matrix approach for the theoretical study of dynamics of relative motion. The body is assumed as arbitrary, asymmetrical, and homogeneous. Based on the developed kinematics and the obtained new theorems, which describe the relative general motion of this body, an additional step is made. New additional dynamic characteristics and new dynamic theorems are defined. The determined differential equations of relative general rigid body motion are especially suitable for programming with the MatLab mathematical package. They could find an application in celestial and satellite mechanics.
