CP09: Theoretical Study of Small Vibrations of Two Rigid Bodies without Damping

ABSTRACT: The small three-dimensional vibrations of two rigid bodies connected with elastic elements are studied in this research. The main task in the paper is to show how the system of differential equations is formed, which describes these vibrations without considering the damping. For determining the stiffness matrix, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used. The obtained results could be applied in solving a number of engineering tasks related to the study of free and forced three-dimensional vibrations by force, inertial and kinematical excitations.
